The Art Market Monitor presciently proclaimed Pirovino’s KAWS toy collection offering as having the potential to reshape the market. The event indeed set 24 new world sale records.

As a collector, Ronnie K. Pirovino, is a visible member of the art community, starting with The Art Collectors project (2008-2013) in Los Angeles. The Pirovino collection includes significant works by Jonas Wood, KAWS, Rashid Johnson, Katherine Bernhardt, Antony Gormley, Marcel Dzama, Jennifer Guidi, Erik Parker, Invader, Daniel Arsham among some emerging artists.

As an art appraiser, Pirovino routinely issues valuation documents for insurance purposes and consults for auctions. He also advises on collecting, basing his insightful guidance in vast experience.

Created to pursue unique art business endeavors, Pirovino Projex is a conduit for professional services and special projects.

In December 2013, London’s premier international magazine, I-D, quoted Pirovino in a feature article, and spotlighted him with a photo and interview profile about his renowned art collection. Pirovino’s collection has appeared in Hypebeast and HighSnobiety, among other web publications.

Pirovino holds a B.S. in Communication from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. Presently, art is the main focus of his time, representing passions outside marketing and technology. Conducting high-profile digital advertising campaigns for movies, TV and Broadway, he was a Director at BLT Communications, LLC, a major entertainment ad firm in Hollywood, California (2009-2015).
